A few days ago, I had a two athletes ask me questions about Karli’s role in RxFIT (Karli’s my wife). While she doesn’t participate in the day-to-day operations of the business, dinners at night are usually a conversation about something going on.
Today’s podcast episode of the RxFIT Radio is an attempt at sharing part of Karli’s fitness story. Ten years ago, she was a vegan marathon runner who thought eating meat led to heart disease and lifting weights resulted in knee replacements.
Now, she’s a staple of the 9:30 a.m. Springville crowd and refuses to miss a session.
To be clear, there’s nothing wrong with being a vegan or a marathon runner–in fact, I applaud anyone that decides to do either of them. But Karli’s story stands in stark contrast to mine, so I wanted to share it on the podcast today.
