Three years ago, I bought a sawzall and a rubber ball to make my own massage gun. In total, it cost me $90–which was a bargain because the only other available massage guns on the market were well over $600.

Nowadays, they abound in stores everywhere–especially Walmart. Given that you can now buy these for under $50, I recommend every athlete buys one for their own use. The smaller they come, the better because you can keep it in your gym bag.

So run over to your neighborhood Walmart (or Amazon) and grab yourself one. They’re worth it–especially seeing that it’s more expensive to make your own now!
